Farisengo is an example of a particularly well-preserved farmstead (cascina) with enclosed courtyard in the typical style of the territory. It is an important historic dwelling first documented in 965 a.C. It also has wonderful gardens of 12,000 sqm protected by the Fine Arts Council.
In addition to being a recognized historic site, today the cascina is characterized by the presence of a peasant museum and a collection of 25 carriages dating back to the nineteenth century.
Charming agritourism venue and countryhouse in Cremona
Cascina Farisengo is also a location and a charming agritourism (country house) located 6 kilometers from Cremona, a city well-known for its history, monuments and music (it is the city of Stradivari and Monteverdi which has now also a wonderful, modern Violin Museum).
Farisengo is also located inside the Natural Park of the Po river where fun activities and excursions could be something different to everyday life. A place plunged in the wonders and silence of nature, but very close to important cities of culture and art (like Verona, Mantua, Bergamo, Parma, Brescia and Milan).
