THE GARDENS
Centuries-old trees overlooking the lake, grassy meadows and rose gardens. The Swiss cottage, the bridge, the ice house, the aviary and the lemon house. Discover our historic garden of romantic taste of 12,000 sqm protected by the Fine Arts.
THE CASCINA
Wide porches that house old agricultural machineries and wagons, old stables converted into an elegant hall for events and weddings. Present and past time merge around the large internal courtyard creating a unique place with a timeless flavour.
THE MANOR HOUSE
The Manor house located in the center of the cascina houses some rooms of rare beauty, such as the “bocchirale”, a frescoed hall typical of the Cremonese palaces, and the “wunder kammer”… with hidden treasures to be discovered.
THE PEASANT MUSEUM
A peasant museum and collection with over 250 objects including work tools, products and equipment of the peasant and farmer civilization. To rediscover traditions of a past time.
THE CARRIAGES
A private collection of 30 old carriages dating back to the 19th century and made by Italian manufacturers will take you back in time, letting you discover the secrets of a fascinating world.
THE LITTLE TEMPLE
The territory around Cascina Farisengo guards a small temple, built in memory of the bloody battle of the 4 emperors for the succession to Nero, fought on the territory in Roman times (69 b.C.)
OUR HISTORY, OUR FAMILY
Cascina Farisengo has a long history, which is connected to the peasant traditions of the area and which gives life to a place where time seems to have stopped.
For several generations, Cascina Farisengo has been guarded and cared for by our family (Anselmi, later Baronchelli). Today, it will be us to welcome you in our family country house.
